Aventa Systems is in the process of completing the NYCT 207th Street Yard project. The project is an electronic security system consisting of IP security cameras, access control devices, laser intrusion detection, intercom stations, and network equipment to transmit video and data throughout the yard network and to remote MTA locations. The fiber optic/Proxim wireless 5.8/24 GHz network interfaces into MTA Fujitsu CoE WAN. In addition, Aventa has integrated alarm monitoring using DPS Telecom equipment, deployed a Genetec system and is in the process of PSIM integration.

Ongoing NYCT Contract S-48006 Pitkin Yard. Aventa Systems is responsible for configuration and testing of full-duplex 80 GHz wireless Bridgewave links in a redundant configuration.

September: Aventa Systems successfully completed the NJDOT Route 1 Forrestal Rd. to Wynwood Dr. Shoulder Control project. The project included integration of Lane-Use Control Signal system to advise motorists whether a lane is open or closed through indication on a sign installed above the lane. In addition, Aventa configured Cisco IE-4000 switches connected with fiber optic cables and integrated IP cameras and Daktronics dynamic message signs to the NJ DOT Control Center.

December: Aventa Systems successfully completed the Coney Island Hospital Temporary Surveillance System project. Over 50 IP cameras were deployed and integrated into Pelco video management system over Ubiquiti UniFi software defined Wi-Fi/copper network consisiting of tens of access points and a 60 GHz point to point link.

December: NYSDOT Lower Hudson Transit Link Intelligent Corridor Management System project. Aventa Systems built Hub cabinets, installed Digi 4G wireless modems and media converters, configured and installed Ubiquiti PowerBeam 5AC Gen2 point to point links.

July: George Washington Bridge Contract GWB-244.236 – Intelligent Transportation System Replacement of Signs and Field Devices. Aventa Systems built Hub and field cabinets, procured and cofigured IP cameras, assisted in communications infrastructure upgrade, and installed temporary access control.

July: Aventa Systems successfully completed the NJDOT Pulaski 4 project. Work involved installation, configuration, testing of analog Pelco cameras, travel time systems, and Daktronics dynamic mesage signs and integration of the system to NJ DOT.

November: Aventa Systems completes Communications portion of the MASSTR project awarded back in January of 2012. During the span of the project we have seen a number of major changes. The government client changed as an agency, client’s management team has completely changed, equipment lines were sold and resold several times, outside people were brought in and affected previously installed and configured portion of the network. This project has greatly enhanced our experience in approaching long term, large scale complex government projects.

October: As general contractor, Aventa Systems successfully completed a wireless communications project for DHS/CBP. This project included setting up a Siklu 2G capacity point to point secure (MACsec) microwave radio link which connected two terminals, and integration into existing IP Video system operated by DHS/CBP. This project is the beginning of a new direction in our business – direct Federal Government contracting.

June: Aventa Systems successfully completed acceptance testing of an Access Light Control system project for US Army Picatinny Arsenal. Traffic lights can be controlled from multiple locations around the weapons testing area. An extensive IP fiber/wireless network was built over densely wooded and varying elevation terrain. Client/server software was developed for the main operator and individual bases. Coding included Google Maps, Javascript/Ajax/PHP, Leaflet API, VB.NET, IP/serial communications programming, and GPS vehicle tracking API integration.

January: Aventa Systems becomes a Genetec partner.

November: Aventa Systems is awarded PANYNJ TEDS and LIDS Maintenance contract for 4 more years as a General Contractor. This projects includes scheduled and emergency maintenance of various surveillance, security and environmental sensing equipment and associated networks and software operated by PANYNJ.

September: Aventa Systems is selected to provide TTS solution for BT200 PANYNJ project that expands the existing Travel Time System for PANYNJ.

August: Aventa Systems expertise now includes advanced security and surveillance applications. More news on this to follow.

March: Aventa Systems is selected to provide AC/Solar controllers for Pulaski Contract #3.

January: Aventa Systems is selected to provide a wireless Access Light Control system for US Army Picatinny Arsenal. This project includes development and installation of a wide area wireless communication system and custom distributed control software to operate it.

May: Aventa Systems LLC is selected to provide ITS integration solution for NJDOT Smart Moves North project. This project includes a number of new Cameras, DMSs, Bluetooth Travel Time system and integration with NJDOT TOC-North. In addition, a number of NJDOT HUBs will be upgraded with new environmental sensing/control system and new Cisco switches.

April: Aventa Systems is selected to provide ITS solution for NJDOT RT 495 Advance ITS project. This small ITS project includes installation of new NJDOT Camera sites communicating over wireless links as well as communications upgrades to VSLS and DMS locations operated by PANYNJ.

March: Aventa Systems LLC is selected to provide ITS integration solution for NJDOT Smart Moves South project. This project includes a number of new Cameras, DMSs, Bluetooth Travel Time system and integration with NJDOT TOC-South.

March: Aventa Systems LLC is selected to provide Rt. 7 Wittpenn Bridge Video Surveillance, communications, video analytics and PSIM solution. This challenging project will make use of cutting edge video analytics and PSIM technology and may become a template for future similar projects.

January: Aventa Systems LLC is selected to provide services for Overheight Vehicle Detection solution for NYSDOT.

August: Aventa Systems LLC successfully re-certifies as a Cisco Select Partner.

May: Aventa Systems LLC is selected to provide systems integration for Pulaski Skyway Contract 4, Contract No. 051123260. This work includes a number of new CCTV, DMS, TTS installations and upgrades as well as integration with NJDOT and PANYNJ Operations Centers.

April: Aventa Systems is selected to provide ITS integration services for PANYNJ Staten Island Bridges project and provide CCTV communication enclosures.

December: Aventa Systems, LLC is selected to provide systems integration for World Trade Center Campus security project PDWTC2013 that includes advanced LPR, surveillance and communication technologies.

October: Aventa Systems, LLC is awarded an extension of NJMC MASSTR project to provide Wireless Communication System for an Adaptivie Traffic Control system, a part of NJDOT Pulaski construction project.

September: Aventa Systems, LLC is selected to provide systems integration for Holland and Lincoln Tunnels #244.241 ITS Projects. These projects will provide Travel Time information.

August: Aventa Systems, LLC is selected to provide systems integration for NJDOT contract # 0049500250. This project will provide additional ITS features on Rt. 21.

April: Aventa Systems, LLC is selected to provide systems integration for NYSDOT contract # D262095. This project will provide real time Travel Time information on major NY highways.

March: Aventa Systems LLC is awarded a general contract to provide maintenance and repair services for PATH TEDS and LIDS system, contract #4600009026.

January: Aventa Systems LLC, in a joint venture, was awarded a contract to act as Communications Systems manager on a Meadowlands Adaptive Signal System for Traffic Reduction (MASSTR) project. This project included deployment of fiber/wireless network that covers more than 100 traffic light intersections in the Meadowlands area in New Jersey and provides high capacity redundant communications backbone to adaptive traffic control, traffic detection and surveillance systems. Aventa designed the IP network and implemented multiple network technologies including VLANs, routing, QoS, Etherchannels, TACACS, etc. Installed and configured Solarwinds for network management.

December: Aventa Systems LLC was selected to repair and maintain a number of Portable VMS, Cameras and Radar Detectors associated with 86th Street station construction, a part of the 2nd Ave subway line project.

June: Aventa Systems LLC is selected to provide CCTV ITS system for NYSDOT Taconic Parkway construction project D261478. The project includes deployment of a number of CCTV traffic cameras mounted on lowering devices and communicating to HVTMC via T1 lines.

June: Aventa Systems LLC is awarded a contract to provide a full ITS solution for 63rd Street Station project in New Yorkk City, Project NYC-C26006. The project includes deployment of wireless traffic sensors, cameras and portable solar powered VMSs.

March: Aventa Systems LLC sucessfully completes the Factory Acceptance Test – a major milestone requirement for NYSDOT D261374 ITS project in Wectchester county. The system test included wireless Gigabit links with wireless backup links, transporting multicast video and displaying it live, PTZ control of the cameras, traffic sensors communications and overall network management consisting of wireless, fiber and copper segments.

February: Aventa Systems LLC is selected to provide ITS integration and support for 2010 New Jersey state wide maintenance contract. Federal Project No. MG-B00S(737); DP No. 10601.

November 2010: Aventa Systems LLC is selected to support ITS installation associated with the 2nd Ave Subway Construction project in NYC that consists of a number of RTMS, PVMS and IP-Video devices.

November 2010: Aventa Systems LLC is certified by BridgeWave Communications to deploy Gigabit Wireless Networks.

October 2010: Aventa Systems, LLC is awarded ITS integration portion of NYSDOT D261374 project – one of the largest ITS projects in Tri-State area.

September 2010: Aventa Systems, LLC is awarded a project to support a DEP fiber-optic network construction project.
